The video is a superb training tool, which alongside the book (Yoga for Children and Young People with Autism) provides thorough guidance to anyone who wants to start teaching yoga to children with autism. The video takes you through an entire session, which enables you to see the lesson plans from the book in action. This is really beneficial because it gives you a better understanding of the pace and energy of the session, which keeps the children engaged. There is also guidance during the video about how to structure the session and when and how to introduce postures. I found the video a very useful resource and one that I will return to.

The stand out thing about this video is that it showed me how to structure the lesson and how to engage my students, and it works. I have never seen them so engaged in such a physical activity. And it's great fun. They enjoy their yoga so much now, and I enjoy it too. Absolutely recommend this video

This is the best practical guide to engaging not only less able children on the Spectrum in a yoga lesson, but kids at all ability levels. The lesson plans , activities and all the hints actually work. Michael Chissick's years of experience shine through .

I bought the book and then the video and they have both made a tremendous difference to my teaching. Teaching yoga to children with Autism is not easy, especially those with complex needs . The book and video recognise that and give a structure and clarity on how to make this work . Thoroughly recommend
